A block of rooms at a reduced rate of $89 plus tax (a terrific savings off the normal price)has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn, about 15 minutes north of the conference site. Be sure to ask for a room in the "GMCHE Conference" block to get the special rate. Rooms must be reserved by March 28, 2012, to get this rate.
Radisson Hotel - Milwaukee West

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Radisson Milwaukee West Hotel, about 15 minutes south of the conference site, for a reduced rate of $89 plus tax. Be sure to request the "GMCHE Conference Rate" when you call. Rooms must be reserved by April 4 2012, to get this rate.
Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center Hostel
Another option is to stay at the conference site itself. The floors above the conference have dorm rooms; they are clean and spacious, though certainly spartan. Rooms include bunk beds, lockers, and a bathroom. You must bring your own bedding and towels, otherwise, bedding packs are available on site for $7 each. Room rate is $85 plus tax.NOTE: For this option to be available, we need at least six rooms reserved! Please contact us BY MARCH 20 at info@gmcheconference.com if you are interested. If we get enough people, we will contact you immediately. If you don't hear back from us by March 21, you'll know that this option isn't available.
Finally, if you're into RV camping, the State Fair grounds have an RV campground - the only one in Metro Milwaukee - available for rental. Call State Fair at 414-266-7035 or rvpark@wisconsin.gov for rates and more information.
